Note:

Since I started writing these updates, many changes have occurred on the website.
Wherever possible, I've noted the changes in Red.
The Menu, however, changes at will, and most of the ones mentioned are no longer available here.
Don't despair.
Mrs. Mouse is still hard at work on her cookbook,
and she'll let everyone know, in the email newsletter, when it is available.

11 November 2001 -

The Halloween Contest is over for this year.
Congratulations to the Winners!

I know it is rushing the season a bit, but Christmas has come
to Mrs. Mouse's House a bit early!

Click on Santa on my Main page (Moved to the Attic)
Or climb up into the
Attic to visit my Christmas Page there.

The Christmas Contest starts 15 November 01 and ends 31 December 01.
I hope you take the time to enter!
There are some great prizes...
Not only free ebooks, but two CASH Prizes!

Some sad news...
Mrs. Mouse's Menu will no longer be updated weekly.

Mrs. Mouse has been too ill to do it on a regular basis.
Now, there will still be new menus, like Today's,
but they will appear and disappear randomly.
That lets Mrs. Mouse take better care of herself.

Each new Menu will still stay up for at least a week, though,
so if you check in every week, you won't miss a one!

Or just keep your membership to the MrsMouseHouse group at Yahoo.
Mrs. Mouse will post any new menus there.
(Replaced by the email newsletter)

Today's Menu is Potato-Cheese Soup. Easy to make, and really quick!
It will warm you up on a blustery day.

Enjoy!

6 December 2001 -

Well!
I really have a busy little rodent today as well!

Scurry over to the
Attic to see my introduction of my favorite
Newsletter, Pennywise!

Then, hop over to the Library!
Oh, I've got a wonderful link for everyone of you with the itch to
learn how to write!
Linda Aksomitis has been good enough to share her Writing Class links
with us!!

And finally...
Mrs. Mouse has been at it again!

She's been cooking up a storm, and shares her recipe for
"Texas Turkey Two-Step",
a wonderful use for some of that leftover turkey!
And she couples it with her favorite Cupcake recipe.

Enjoy!

5 December 2001 -

I'd really like to know where time goes when folks say,
"I lost track of time."
Do you know why?

Because I bet there is a whole PILE of lost seconds, minutes, and
hours just lying around somewhere; I sure could use a few,...
couldn't you?

I've rearranged Miss LorrieAnn's
Breakfast Blessings so now you can
easily get to an index of all her menus and recipes.
Be sure to bookmark that page so you can see what she has new each
time you visit!
(or just pop in here as your first stop)

There is a new 'Blessing' up...and has she ever outdone herself this
time! *YUMMM!*

Have you seen the 'U.S. Flag Pins' that Mrs. Mouse makes?
(The Flag Pins are no longer available, but there are many other things available in Mrs. Mouse's Shoppe.)

Well that's all this time.
Come back and visit again real soon.

8 January 2002 -

Brrr! It's cold out there!

And that's just the right temperature to tell you
about what Mrs. Mouse has been up to lately!

If you visit Mrs. Mouse's House, you'll see a wonderful new graphic
by
Moonstar (the illustrator for "I Can Grow!").
Moonstar has drawn another colorful portrait of Mrs. Mouse, this time
knitting her little paws off for EP Caps 4 Kids!

EP Caps for Kids is a heartwarming charity.
Sponsored by Author Joan Bramsch, founder of EmpoweredParent.com, and
coordinated by Marcie Hoye Cumberland, EP Caps 4 Kids works through
Internet groups, neighbors, Senior Centers, and Youth groups, Craft
and hobby clubs, local yarn shops, and manufacturers, to provide warm
winter hats to children in need.
Using simple and easy patterns, Volunteers knit and crochet,
purchase, or gather Caps 4 Kids to be distributed through area or
local charitable organizations next Winter.

Join Mrs. Mouse and EPCaps4Kids to help make someone's life
a little warmer this winter.

For more information, go to
EP Caps 4 Kids

How many hats will you donate?

Also, in the Family Room, there is a new link!
Visit Empowered Kids' Game Room; there are hours of fun to be found at the website of
Author Joan Bramsch!

No new menu this time (sorry), but Mrs. Mouse will do her absolute
best to come up with a brand new one for you before writing you again.

Thanks so much for your interest in Mrs. Mouse and her eHouse.
Feel free to tell your friends about all the fun activities to be
found there.

Enjoy!

26 January 2002 -

Happy New Year!

Well, Mrs. Mouse has been scurrying around finding a new webhost
for her Internet 'House', and she's found a wonderful home for it,
at Cactus Computer Company's
Turbonet.com!

So, since it needs to be packed up and moved,
Mrs. Mouse is doing a bit of reorganising and remodeling at the same time.

That's why there is now this newsletter, letting you know about any
changes and new stuff going on at Mrs. Mouse House, or with the
Author, Mrs. Mouse!

Welcome! I'm so glad you decided to join!
I promise I won't innundate you with millions of emails...
just one now and then.

Read back through the past dozen or so posts to see what I was I've done
in 2001,
and what I've been up to in 2002.
Then hop over to the website to check it out for yourself!

I bet you'll find something fun or interesting!
And I'll send you out an email
whenever Mrs. Mouse will make an appearance,
or when I make changes to the website.

But you don't have to wait for an update to visit Mrs Mouse House.
Come on by anytime, and have family friendly fun!

See you there!!

31 January 2002 -

The change is complete.

Mrs. Mouse House has successfully moved to her (hopefully) permanent
webhost with Turbonet.com!

While I was moving everything over, I cleaned up some old coding from
when I didn't know what I was doing, rearranged a few things, and
added a bunch more stuff to the rooms!

But being as I'm not perfect, I may have made a few coding mistakes.
If you find one of those, please
email me so I may fix it for you and
others as soon as I can.

Happy visiting!
